Rob Bogue appears in the new movie "The Last International Playboy." The movie opens, June 12 and stars Jason Behr. The sweet and touching story of a drinking good times rich boy coming to terms with the news that his childhood sweetheart is engaged to be married. Thrown for a loss, he re-examines his shallow ways with the help of his friends and the wisdom of a girl, his 11 year old neighbor. Rob Bogue plays the bride's fiancee.

I wanted to let you all know that for the past couple of weeks I’ve been in rehearsal for an off-Broadway musical in NYC called Sessions. It’s currently playing at the Algonquin Theater on 24th street and Park Ave. I’m taking over the lead role and will perform 7 shows a week through August 31st. The producers hope to then move it to a bigger house and I’ll figure out at that time if I will continue with it or not. I will be doing the show in addition to my work at GL. I will probably not make all of the Wed matinees, (an understudy will go on for me), but should make most of the evening performances. I will not be in the show June 5th and 6th, as I will be doing a PR thing in South Carolina. The shows score, lyrics and book are all written by Albert Tapper. It revolves around a therapist and his patients. I think it’s a great script. A good blend of comedy and drama. Like life. Some great music and lyrics. I very much enjoy the rest of the cast and they’ve been wonderfully supportive. I’m taking on the show because I think it will be a strong and challenging role for me. I also think it will be a good balance for me in these last few months of GL. A distraction of sorts. Lastly, I feel it will be a good transition from GL to whatever is in store for me next in my career. For those of you close by, please come and enjoy and feel free to look for me after the show. SOAP STARS SWIM WITH DOLPHINS »

Discovery Cove played host this week to Guiding Light stars Mandy Bruno and Robert Bogue, who play Marina and A.C. Mallet.

This on-screen couple -- who were also engaged in real life earlier this year -- spent the afternoon swimming with Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and relaxing on pristine beaches. Bogue arranged for the dolphin, Jenny, to deliver a special love note written on a buoy to his new fiancée. The two plan to wed in 2010. The soap stars are in Orlando for a Guiding Light fan event and chose to spend some free time at Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive park where, along with swimming with dolphins, guests can snorkel with rays and hand-feeding exotic birds in a free-flight aviary.
